01 The overview

A marketplace for
digital collecting.

Magic Eden is a digital marketplace where people discover, list, and trade NFTs—unique tokens recorded on a blockchain.

The platform provides an interface for exploring collections and connecting a wallet. The blockchain records the token transfer; the marketplace helps people find and interact with listings. The image or artwork associated with a token is a separate part of the story.

A useful distinction

Owning an NFT means owning a blockchain token. It does not automatically grant copyright or broad reuse rights to the artwork. Check the specific collection’s terms.

02 The simple version

Three things to keep
in your frame.

01 / DISCOVER

Find a collection

Explore the marketplace and learn who created a collection, what it represents, and which network it uses.

02 / REVIEW

Check the details

Confirm the collection and item, understand any fees, and read the terms before you connect a wallet or proceed.

03 / CONFIRM

Understand the action

Wallet prompts authorize blockchain activity. Read each prompt carefully; completed blockchain transactions may not be reversible.

03 Wallets & ownership

The marketplace is a window.
Your wallet is the key.

When a wallet connects, it can display assets and ask you to approve actions. Keep recovery details private, check what a prompt requests, and never share a seed phrase or private key with a website or support agent.

Magic Eden’s service lineup has changed over time. Before relying on a particular wallet or marketplace feature, check the current notice from Magic Eden.
